Fields of Application:

Multi-grade mineral oil for classic cars and motorcycles built after 1970. This oil takes advantage of the modern principles in detergent additives but it respects the historic motoring standards at the same time. It offers high lubricating power and good anti-oxidation capability, granting viscosity stability and constant engine oil pressure. The product also protects against corrosion, tear and wear. Viscosity range: SAE 15W-40 according with API SL/CF requirements.

Additives contained in modern lubricants are not suitable for every vintage engine.

PAKELO CLASSIC 70s MOTOR OIL SAE 15W-40 is a multi-grade lubricant formulated with the best solvent refined paraffinic base stocks specific for vintage cars built after ‘70s.

The additive packages used confers to the finished product detergent, dispersant, anti-oxidative, anti-wear, anti-foam and anti-corrosion properties optimized for vintage engines.

Wrong or inappropriate additives may cause serious damages to classic vehicles. For instance a wrong or ineffective detergents may cause contact between gums, oil deposits and the hottest engine parts, while an excessive use can cause the accumulation of metallic ashes in the combustion chamber of oldest engines and to the extreme reduction of oil deposits with resulting obstruction of connections and lubricating nozzles.

  • The accumulation of metallic ash in the combustion chambers,
  • Excessive oil consumption due to gasket attrition or incompatibility,
  • Thickening at high temperatures with the formation of varnishes obstructing filters and piston bands,
  • Rust formation in the internal part of the engine,
  • Soot stockpile, metallic tear and wear and secondary combustion deposits
